Sipiwe is a performer and teaching artist in New York CIty. She graduated in 2005 from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, and The University of the Witwaterstrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. At NYU, she minored in applied theatre; she believes very strongly in the healing effects of theatre and is very proud and honoured to have been a member of Big Apple Playback Theatre for the past 5 years.
