Performance
BAPT performances run from half-an-hour to one-hour-and-a-half. They are energetic, meaningful and interactive. BAPT performs for people of all ages, races, genders, classes, creeds and religions. The ideal audience size ranges between 35-100 people, depending on population and theme.

Introductory Workshop
BAPT offers half-day, whole day, or weekend introductory workshops in which your organization can learn the Playback method. These workshops are fun, insightful and open to all levels of experience. These workshops can also be organized around a specific theme.

Staff Development
BAPT offers a whole or half day workshop for a staff within a specific organization in which the Playback method emphasizes one or more of the following themes: team-building, communication skills, mediation, leadership or creative brainstorming.

Core Training
BAPT offers a week-long training residency in which the participants learn the technique in depth with the intention of using the method in their work place. This training is intensive and addresses both the artistic and social justice aspects of Playback Theatre.

Keep the Peace! Anti-bullying
program for K-12

We offer performances and residencies in schools around issues of bullying, harassment, tolerance and empathy. In the performance model, BAPT offers interactive performances in which students address issues relating to bullying and violence, including sexual harassment. In each performance, children will be invited to tell personal stories and feelings about bullying, which the performers will enact on the spot.

In the residency model, we train a select group of students in Playback Theatre in weekly workshops and then include them as actors in performances for other students. These student-leaders become anti-bullying "ambassadors" for the school.

Performances take place for up to two classes/50 students at a time.
